পাহাড়ে বেপরোয়া চাঁদাবাজি শান্তির পথ কোথায়

ইউসুফ শরীফ : তিন পার্বত্য জেলায় জুম ফসল তোলার মওসুম চলছে। এই মওসুম পাহাড়ি মানুষের জন্য আশা ও আনন্দের। তাদের এই আনন্দের সময় উদ্বেগ-শংকা দেখা দিয়েছে। তারা যখন জুমের ধান কাটছেন, তখন পাহাড়ি চাঁদাবাজরা ধানসহ সব ধরনের ফল-ফসল-সব্জির জন্য ‘বাধ্যতামূলক’ চাঁদা আদায় করছে। কৃষকদের মনে শান্তি নেই। আগামী দিনগুলো যেন অনিশ্চয়তায় ভরা।

সৈয়দ ইবনে রহমত :: বর্তমানে পার্বত্য চট্টগ্রামে অপ্রতিরুদ্ধ খ্রিস্টান মিশনারিরা, তাদের প্রভাব এতটাই বেশি যে, অনেক সময় প্রশাসনকেও পাত্তা দিতে চায় না। এ প্রসঙ্গে সাম্প্রতিক একটি ঘটনা উল্লেখ্য, ঘটনাটি ঘটেছে গত ১৫ মার্চ ২০১৪ বান্দরবান জেলায়। পার্বত্যনিউজসহ দুই-একটি অনলাইন মিডিয়ায় খবরটি যেভাবে এসেছে তার সারমর্ম হলো- ‘বান্দরবান ফাতিমা রানী চার্চ-এ মহিলা হোস্টেলের মেয়েদেরকে মিশনের ফাদার ও ব্রাদার কর্তৃক যৌন হয়রানির অভিযোগ উঠেছে। এরা সবাই বান্দরবান ডনবস্কো উচ্চ বিদ্যালয়ের ৭ম থেকে ১০ম শ্রেণীর ছাত্রী। গত ১৫ মার্চ ৭১ জন ছাত্রী নদীতে গোসল করার নামে হোস্টেল থেকে বের হয়ে পালিয়ে গেলে ঘটনাটি জানতে পারে স্থানীয়রা।

Pakuyakhali Tragedy is one of those genocide histories by Shanti Bahinee. 9 September (1996) was the day of horror, Shanti Bahinee did to 35 innocent Bengali. Pakuyakhali tragedy, the day of Darkness of Chittagong Hill Track’s history is today (9 September). In this day in 1996 in Rangamati, Shanti Bahini driven by Santu Larma killed 35 innocent Bengali woodmen. 28 bodies were found near the killing spot two days after killing. Dead bodies were buried in Langdu Upazilla Council yard.

বাংলাদেশের পার্বত্যচট্টগ্রামে শান্তিবাহিনী ১৯৯৭ সালের ২ ডিসেম্বর চুক্তি সাক্ষরের পূর্ব পর্যন্ত অজস্র হত্যাকান্ড ঘটিয়েছে। এগুলোর মধ্যে কোন কোন হত্যাকান্ডের নৃসংশতা ইতিহাসের জঘন্যতম গণহত্যাগুলোকেও হারমানায়। পাকুয়াখালী ট্রাজেডি এই নৃসংশ গণহত্যাগুলোরই একটি। ১৯৯৬ সালের ৯ সেপ্টেম্বর পার্বত্য রাঙ্গামাটি জেলার বাঘাইছড়িতে ঘটে বর্বরতম এই ঘটনা। এই দিন পাকুয়াখালীতে শান্তিবাহিনী ঘটিয়েছিল পার্বত্য ইতিহাসের জঘন্যতম হত্যাকান্ড। ৩৫ জন নিরীহ বাঙালি কাঠুরিয়াকে নির্মমভাবে হত্যা করে বিকৃত করেছিল তাদের প্রতিটি লাশ। সেদিন ঘটনাস্থল থেকে সৃষ্টিকর্তার অসীম করুণায় পালিয়ে আসতে পেরেছিল মুহাম্মদ ইউনুছ মিয়া নামের এক ভাগ্যবান। সেদিনের সেই মৃত্যুকূপ থেকে ফিরে আসা ইউনুছ মিয়ার সাক্ষাৎকার নিয়েছেন- সৈয়দ ইবনে রহমত।

Two Bangladeshi Chakmas among five arrested with huge arms in India

Five Chakma youths including two from Bangladesh have been apprehended with huge quantity of arms and ammunition in the Indian state of Mizoram. A senior official of Border Security Force (BSF) in Agartala said the arrests were made on Thursday.

On 26 March 1971, the war was started, when Pakistani army launched a operation called 'Operation Searchlight'. Badly controversial coordinator of CHT coordinator was harassed in Bandarban. Provokers threw stones on her car to stop her. To stop the attackers, Hana came down from her car and attacked by the terrorist. She was badly beaten with fist-punched and thrown shoes by the terrorist. It happened on Monday 7:30pm, source said.
